The last week or so has seen my introduction in the national media, as a correspondent for Salon.com on three occasions. I also did my first-ever live blog. Below, here is the rundown of my posts throughout the virtual universe in the past week (or so, in this case).
Friday, May 7: I previewed the U.S. Senate race for Salon.com, in which incumbent Sen. Bob Bennett could very likely lose his seat at the state convention. Story here. I also previewed the GOP and Democratic conventions for City Weekly here.
Saturday, May 8: I covered the GOP convention for Salon.com and City Weekly. I posted to City Weekly throughout the day, with a round-up of speeches, round one results, Bennett’s loss, and convention winners. I wrote a longer summary of the GOP convention for Salon.com, as well.
On this website, I tried my hand at a live blog.
Monday, May 10: City Weekly blog about Rep. Carl Wimmer’s suggestion (later withdrawn) that Republicans vote for Claudia Wright to give Morgan Philpot and easier road to Congress.
Wednesday, May 12: City Weekly blog that was reposted by Salon.com about liberals in the Democratic Party being angry at Rep. Jim Matheson reflecting a broader frustration with Blue Dogs. Also, my weekly Hits & Misses.
Thursday, May 13: Following the live blog, I posted a rundown of what I think worked.
